In the early 1970s Laucks entered the environmental analytical services market developing and performing methods for routine and non-routine matrices. As the regulatory programs grew in the 1970s and 80s, Laucks developed the capability to handle not only routine monitoring for NPDES clients but to also service local, state and federal clients for various regulatory programs. In the last five years Laucks has continued to support local agencies with their routine monitoring as well as maintain certifications/accreditations in both state and federal programs to support the analytical services needs of the environmental community.
As an early participant in the EPA CLP program Laucks developed the capability to perform routine analytical testing with a report deliverable that was court defensible. We have used this experience to develop variations of deliverables for all types of local, state and federal clients that meet various regulatory program requirements.
During the 1980s and 90s as UST programs developed, Laucks added the capability to perform hydrocarbon identification and quantitation on various matrices. Laucks has developed the capability to perform regulatory analyses under Oregon, Washington and Alaska LUST/UST programs.
Now, in the new millennium, Laucks Testing Laboratories primary focus over the past 6 years has been to provide environmental laboratory services. During the last 6 years, Laucks has provided laboratory support to over 1000 projects with billings in excess of $5,000 a project. A small number of these projects have generated in excess of $200,000 in billings. References for Laucks are available in the following areas:
