Laucks new laboratory information management system (LIMS) is called the iLIMS. The iLIMS is being designed in-house using a web-based interface on a SQL-server database storage system. Data can be either manually entered (for various wet chemistry tests) or parsed from instrument software. Reports and electronic deliverables are generated directly from the iLIMS.

The iLIMS has been designed with flexibility in mind. Laucks project management staff can detail exact client requirements for each project, including specific analyte lists, reporting limits and control limits. These specifications then guide the laboratory analytical staff and automatically customize reports and EDDs.
